Free Printable Buttons
Make your own Skoshie & Friends buttons! This free printable has 12 designs sized for 1.25" button makers, plus easy step-by-step directions. It's a quick, crafty activity for home, the classroom, or a library program.
What you'll need
- A 1.25" (32 mm) button maker with button shells, clear covers and pin backs
- A circle cutter or scissors
- A printer and plain printer paper

How to make them

Print the button sheet
Print page 1 at 100% (choose "Actual size," not "Fit to page"). Plain printer paper works best; thick cardstock usually won't fit in the press.

Check the size
Each dashed circle should measure about 1.8" (46 mm) across. If yours is smaller, your printer scaled the page. Reprint at 100%.

Cut out the circles
Cut along the dashed lines with a circle cutter or scissors. Grown-ups: a circle cutter is quicker (and sharp!).

Press your button
Follow your button maker's directions to stack the shell, your artwork and a clear cover, then press it together with a pin back.

Show it off!
Pin it to a backpack, jacket or lanyard, and trade with friends.
No button maker? No problem!
Glue the circles onto cardboard for medals or name tags, add a magnet for the fridge, or tape them to toothpicks for cupcake toppers.
