We have two product lines designed for different age groups:

Little Skoshie & Friends (Ages 0-3)

Age Progression
Many families start with Little Skoshie & Friends for their babies (0-3), then transition to the regular Skoshie & Friends collection as their child grows (4-8+). It's a wonderful way to build a Skoshie collection that grows with your child!

Are the plush toys machine washable?

Yes! All our plush stuffed animals are machine washable in both product lines.

For Little Skoshie & Friends (Ages 0-3):
We specifically designed these for easy cleaning since babies can be messy!

  • Machine wash cold
  • Tumble dry low or air dry
  • No special care needed - they're made for real life with babies

For Skoshie & Friends (Ages 4-8):

  • Machine wash cold
  • Air dry recommended to maintain the soft texture and vibrant colors
  • Can also tumble dry on low if needed

Both lines maintain their softness and quality even after many washes! Each toy comes with care instructions.

Are board books in the Little line the same stories as the picture books?

Yes and no! The board books feature the same beloved characters and core messages, but adapted for younger children.

What's the same:

What's different:

At what age should I transition from Little Skoshie to regular Skoshie?

Most families transition between ages 3-4, but every child develops at their own pace!

Signs your child might be ready for the regular line:

  • They're interested in longer stories (not just board books)
  • They handle books gently (not chewing or rough handling)
  • They're asking more complex questions about characters
  • They enjoy more detailed illustrations

The good news? You don't have to choose!
Many families keep both:

  • Little Skoshie plush for comfort/bedtime (even as they grow)
  • Regular Skoshie books for story time as reading skills develop
  • Younger siblings can use the Little line while older kids enjoy the regular line

Collection Tip: If you have the same character in both lines (like Little Skoshie AND regular Skoshie), kids love seeing their friend "grow up" with them!

Little Skoshie & Friends (Ages 0-3)

Can babies safely chew on Little Skoshie & Friends plush?

Yes! The Little Skoshie & Friends line is specifically designed with teething babies in mind.

Safety features:

  • No small parts that could come off or pose choking hazards
  • All features (eyes, nose, etc.) are securely embroidered or sewn
  • Non-toxic materials safe for mouthing and teething
  • No bean bag filling that could leak if damaged
  • Hypoallergenic fabrics

That said, while our plush toys are safe for babies to explore with their mouths, they are toys - not teething toys. We always recommend supervision during play, and if you notice any wear or damage, discontinue use.

How long does shipping take?

We offer fast, reliable shipping! Most orders ship within 1-3 business days. Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days after your order ships. You'll receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ship within the United States only. We're working on expanding our shipping options to serve customers worldwide - stay tuned!

What is your return policy?

We want you to absolutely love your Skoshie & Friends products! If you're not completely satisfied, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Items must be in new, unused condition with original tags attached. Please contact us to initiate a return and we'll make it right.

Are products safe for young children?

Yes! All Skoshie & Friends products meet or exceed CPSIA safety standards.

For Ages 4-8 (Regular Line):
Our plush toys are regularly tested for safety, and our books are printed with non-toxic, child-safe inks.

For Ages 0-3 (Little Skoshie & Friends):
Our baby line has additional safety features specifically for infants and toddlers:

How do I clean the books?

Board Books (Little Skoshie & Friends, Ages 0-3):
Board books are designed to be durable and easy to clean!

  • Wipe with a damp cloth for surface cleaning
  • Use mild soap and water for sticky spots
  • Dry thoroughly before storing
  • Safe for baby wipes

Picture Books (Skoshie & Friends, Ages 4-8):
Our picture books are printed on quality paper with non-toxic, child-safe inks. For light cleaning, gently wipe with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking pages. Store books in a dry place to maintain their beautiful appearance.

Gift Giving

Do you offer gift wrapping?

While we don't currently offer formal gift wrapping services, all our products arrive beautifully packaged and ready to gift! We're happy to include a gift receipt and we'll do our best to avoid including pricing on the outside of the package if you mention it's a gift in the order notes.
