Getting there

The store is on Carmichael Street, just around the corner from the original Essex Outlets location and right off Route 15. It shares a building with Dunkin' and is across from Mimmo's, so you can grab a coffee on the way in. โ˜• (We approve of this plan. Our artist is a very caffeinated human, after all.)

Why we love an independent bookstore

Independent bookstores are the heart of a community. They're where a kid finds a favorite book, where a grown-up gets the perfect recommendation, and where a rainy Saturday turns into an adventure. Phoenix Books has locations in Essex, Burlington, and Rutland, and their booksellers know and love their local readers. We're proud to be part of that.

๐Ÿ’› Want to support an awesome bookstore? Order through THEIR website!

Here's the best part, and it's super easy โ€” you don't have to be in Vermont to help.

When you order our books through the Phoenix Books website, your purchase supports a Vermont independent bookstore. It's a small way to keep a local-first business thriving, and a great way to say "thank you" to the folks who gave Skoshie & Friends a home on their shelves.

A big thank you

To everyone at Phoenix Books: thank you for welcoming us in. To our Vermont friends: go say hi to the booksellers, browse the shelves, and give a book (and a snuggle) to a kiddo you love.

Here's to finding good things, one bookstore at a time. ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ’›
